Onosato forced out Fujinokawa for 10-1, his first win over him in three meetings, and with all three two-loss men beaten he leads alone by two. Atamifuji was forced out by Kirishima for a third loss; Kirishima's first win in four days makes him 5-5. Kinbozan was forced out by Asanoyama, both now 8-3. Aonishiki pushed out Takanosho and Minoumi forced down Kotoshoho, both clinching winning records. Kotozakura threw Roga to end a three-bout slide at 7-4. Hakunofuji lost to Takayasu's overarm throw for a losing record. Ura was pushed out by Kotobukinofuji and Tokihayate forced out by Fujiseiun, both 7-4. After eleven days Onosato is 10-1, nobody is 9-2, and six men are 8-3: Atamifuji, Fujinokawa, Aonishiki, Minoumi, Kinbozan and Asanoyama. In juryo Kagayaki was forced out by Hitoshi for a first loss at 10-1; Kayo is 9-2. In sandanme Naya is 6-0.
