A Mongolian-born ozeki of the Otowayama stable. A classic rank-and-file riser — 23 tournaments to Juryo, 28 to Makuuchi from his 2015 debut — he first reached ozeki in July 2023. After falling back to the maegashira ranks in 2025, he strung together 11- and 12-win tournaments at sekiwake to reclaim the rank in 2026 — then went 12-3 in May, tying for the championship in his first tournament back at ozeki.
